People are geared to avoid conflict. If you feel that there is discomfort or you feel that something is not right, people collectively agree not to go near it. Just like a bump in a carpet, it is a thing that you ignore, pretending it's not there and not stepping past it. But did you know that spaces people collectively avoid are problematic in leadership?
